My personal review and reflection: ![]()

| No, not my kind of music. I have never understood Sting's music. It doesn't appeal to me at all. The positive I can say about his music is that it's interesting an different. On the other hand, I do understand that many like his music because he has a style of his own. According to the sleeve Eric and Mark Knopfler are on "They Dance Alone". I am not able to find any trace of any guitar anywhere. Maybe my hearing is getting worse by age, but I am not THAT old! I simply can't hear any guitar at all. Puzzling. The best track on the album is the one that Sting hasn't written: "Little Wing" by Jimi Hendrix. There is a very nice guitar-solo by Hiram Bullock. He has played on lots and lots of album from 1972 up till now. Mostly jazz and fusion, but here he is doing a good blues-job. | ||
